The Sixth classes graduated on the 20th June. The graduation ceremony was held in the community centre. A lot of practise had very obviously gone into the dance routines and everyone knew their moves extremely well. Thank you to Kevin Woods who choreographed the routines and also coached all the dancers. The current junior infants – who’d been participating in buddy scheme with the sixth classes – made a surprise visit and sang “You’ve got a friend in me” . Ms Gorey had put together a montage of the girl’s camogie match in Croake Park. The whole ceremony was wonderful and a big thank you to the volunteers who made sandwhiches, cakes and served refreshments after the ceremony.
The whole school, the teachers, Ms Keane and all the staff would like to wish the 6th class students the very best of luck on their move to the Secondary School. Have a great Summer and we hope you look back on your primary school years with good memories.
